Stamped concrete is concrete that has been patterned and/or textured to emulate brick, slate, flagstone, stone, tile, wood, or various other patterns and textures.

 Stamped concrete is typically used for terraces, sidewalks, driveways, and floors. The ability of decorative concrete to resemble other construction materials establishes stamped concrete as a less Costly choice to utilizing those other materials. 

There are three processes used in stamped concrete. The actual stamp reflects the contour of the surface of the concrete before the concrete is stamped. Broadcast color release is a non-adhesive powder applied to Keep the concrete stamps from sticking to the wet concrete as the concrete is molded and colored by spreading the color release on the surface of the stamped concrete. Concrete impressions are placed on the concrete subsequently the color release on the surface of the concrete is stamped. Spray-on color release is a non-adhesive employed to prevent the concrete stamps from adhering the concrete. The color can be applied in one of two procedures; cast-on powder color release or spray-on color release. Cast-on color release is a procedure where powdered color release is broadcast by hand on the wet concrete.

 Integral color is the secondary method used to color  stamped concrete. The accent color is produced by adding a color to the concrete mix truck, and allowing all the concrete in the truck to be dyed.
